Xovee Xu was born in Zizhou County, Yulin, Shaanxi, China, in 1996. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in software engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, Sichuan, China, in 2018 and 2021, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from UESTC in 2025.
He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Information and Software Engineering, UESTC, Chengdu, Sichuan, China. His research seeks to understand how artificial intelligence shapes and is shaped by people and society, and to develop technologies that serve human needs and aspirations. His work has been published in venues including AAAI, TKDE, and CIKM.
Dr. Xu is the principal investigator of a project supported by the NSFC Young Scientists Fund (Category C). He is a member of ACM, CCF, and IEEE.
